Care2Spin™ is a unique marathon where individuals can engage in any activity that spins to raise money for Easter Seals Greater Houston and their partners. On September 17, thousands of Houstonians will gather to engage in “spin” initiatives—be it riding their bikes through their neighborhood, cycling on a stationary bike at the local gym, test driving a Honda at John Eagle Honda, skateboarding, mowing lawns, riding a golf cart, spinning laundry in the washing machine, local bakers spinning their mixers, DJ’s spinning records, the options are endless.

According to a recent study by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, one in six U.S. children are diagnosed with a developmental disability. Care2Spin™ is an opportunity for Houstonians to help the clients of Easter Seals Greater Houston participate in new and creative therapies and technology-based programs that will ultimately change the lives of over 5,500 Houstonians with special needs, and the families served, each year. Easter Seals Greater Houston's programs focus on helping ensure children with all types of disabilities have a chance to live full, independent and productive lives.
